OK previously i had softmii 2.0 with preloader 0.28 on 3.2u installed.
just tried to update cios36r9 to do the usb loader with my gc controller and mem card plugged in
loader booted up and formated the drive but no backup reads now,
(Disc Channel, Softchip, Launcher, or USB Loader)
tried to reinstall older cios36, no change
used Anyreigon changer and hack remover to try to downgrade the IOSes - no change
no change when reinstalling softmii after using ios and cios downgrader then formatting, Can get gamecube backups to work though.
Edit: Nevermind i just had to clean my laser
