I got the game, have wifi on, But I'm still at the part where you go to the Professor's house for the first time. Wondertrade or any other online services aren't unlocked yet and I'm afraid to open my wifi on. Am I safe?

I'd still like to know whether system format actually allows you to access eshop. should've bought that damn dsiware game yesterday it seems.

Make a backup with decrypt9 then use tiny format if it works then great if it doesn't then put back the backup.

Are we sure it's a MAC ban? Wouldn't that mean FreeShop should stop working? FreeShop works however eShop does not.

Freeshop just access the CDN servers for the Eshop, eshop does that + cert verification etc

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's the same reason why things like CDN-FX work- all they do is access the CDN servers where games are held, and download after giving titlekey etc

Should I backup my sd contents or just emunand.bin? And it wouldn't be better to use official format?

This is weird, I only get the 2812 ban ( eshop) but not the other one.. I still can play online in other games. ( pkmn OR, miiverse, and mariokart) Did anyone experienced this?

Yeah this the ban i ended up getting this morning. accidently went online with festival.

You are safe as long as you do not go online. I am almost finished with the game, CIA file and all of my online services are working.

Tested online with other games, it works.
Tested Eshop it works.

Note that I am using Gateway with EMUNAND (unlinked with sysnand, don't think it matters tho since a console ban isn't NAND related I think) on latest firmware (yes, yes, that primitive hacking method because I was too lazy to update to a9lh or whatever) rofl.

Mentioned in the other thread, but I'm getting a different error code for the eShop than from online games, so I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume that I'm SOL.
I mean, it's completely my fault, and I get that. But it still stings, especially since I legitimately bought the game.

I don't see why all of a sudden they'd change the way bans work for 0102, so here's hoping it's a 15day. Time will tell, though.
