Gaming Errcode = -4 Fixes Yet?

Is there any fixes for Errcode=-4 yet? All games are probably going to end up going that way, and if there isn't a fix soon, noone will be able to play future games.

Seriously.. When you have no job, no allowance, no chores, and no way to get either of the 3, then there's no way to get money at any time other than bday and xmas. And I already spent all that money.

Seems as far as the TTDS is concerned, since ashley is no longer publically releasing new kernels, users are screwed unless the ROM release groups fix it themselves (which is only going to happen on big releases, such as Golden Sun DS). Whatever protection the PopCap games use, forget it.

Not an announcement from ashley directly, but there was a dust up awhile back over ashley's unofficial firmware appearing on different sites and apparently ashley decided to stop developing out of frustration because of it.

We can only hope that is the case. He had a bit of a hissy fit when his last unofficial firmware appeared on the DSTT site.

I'm just calculating here, but based on his patience level and maturity, I wouldn't say he's legal to work unless it's in an illegal sweat shop where they make tube socks for a cent an hour.

Acekards can be like around $14 if you use a Dealextreme alternative (since most of DX's flashcarts have been taken down). Although on the other hand you'll have to live with mostly long shipping times.

Usually if I need cash I'll ask my mom if there's anything I can do for it, like yard work or the like. Being a cameraman and video tech isn't exactly a reliable job when you work for the school. And the $100-some I will be getting from that is going into a PSP.

I'm legally an adult, actually. But I can't drive, the nearest places to work are 10 minutes away (across the highway), and i'm still in school.

So i'm stuck with zip. If I ask what I could do for money, my mom says she doesn't know, then goes off on me how I don't do anything around the house... I mean, i'd do SOMETHING..... But I don't get payed for it, so why should I?

You shouldn't joke or even laugh abit about others status at home or where-ever, before you know it, something even worse will befall you, don't even joke about it. It's for your own good. Before you think of how you'll feel (good or be it bad) when you say something to someone, just think of what the listener will feel, then you'll know I'm saying.

Back to topic:- I haven't faced this error yet...hmm...well maybe 'cuz I didn't transfer the latest roms to my DSTT or EzFlash V but to R4i running AKAIO.

well, i feel for you but you should also understand those who are doing all these are always being alienated by others. thats how the ds scene is! it is about a bunch of thieves stealing others work without credit or asking the author.

who knows ashley and co might give us a surpise?
