Hardware Err some help please?

Well I was playing FFXIII and suddenly when I loaded my save my PS3 said Beep beep beep and it turned off. Then a red light began to flicker. When I try to turn it on(after removing the power cord) it goes on for a second then repeats the process. Could somebody tell me what it going on?

it was not too hot(it was normal like the Wii)

Sorry my title is unclear my excuses.

I can also make a movie if you don't understand what I mean.

Hmm... It's probably some internal overheating. Have you felt the underside?

Unplug it for a day and then try.

atm the underside is at the same temp as the rest. It's a good temperature. My tv was hotter.

i had 2 60gb BC ps3 do that to me

the 1st time
i HAD FFXIII in the SYSTEM
i sent the system to Sony (had to pay about $190)
got a different 60gb ps3 back with my copy of FFXIII

the 2nd one (the one sony sent me) is sitting a my shelf
i got a new slim and that working fine

your system may be DEAD
a ps3 HDD is only good on ps3 is was formatted on
so your save(and all other data) may be GONE
