I'm looking for some new really cool games, to give you an idea of what I mean, here are some of my favourites. Any help is greatly appreciated!

All the Pheonix Wright/Miles Edgeworth/Apollo Justice
Mario and Luigi partners in time/Bowser's inside story
The Professor Laytons
Pokemon Diamond/Pearl

Many more, but they were my favourites - I hope I haven't played all my favourite games; I need more!

Thanks in advance,

Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective was made by the same guy who made Ace Attorney
also, try TWEWY

sounds like you should try flirting with different genre's. i love Plants Vs Zombies on PC, and i LOVE it on DS! It's sort of like tower defence, but not. i dunno. i loved inside story untill i lost my save. no way i was starting over. xD

999 pissed me off to no end. Rock Band 3 has decent gameplay but a poor and small music selection. Mario Kart is solid, assuming you havnt overplayed it like the rest of us xD.

Animal Crossing is fun if you like the type of game.

OH I JUST REALIZED, you'd be a huge fan of Ghost Trick! it's rather new, but it has a similar feel as professor layton and phoenix wright.

You could also try Super Scribblenauts, its quiet fun if you have got a decent imagination.

Good Luck!

i'm also looking for TWEWY, 999 type of games. may have one or more of the following; good story, unique gameplay, somewhat mysterious and interesting and nice graphics.

The DS Castlevania games are awesome - you need some arcade skills though. Obviously the DS ports of Final Fantasy III and IV should also be mentioned, every DS owner should play through FF IV at least once.

This is basically a "Good NDS games?" thread.

To that I say look here.

I thought the DS version of FFIV was garbage, the GBA version is a lot better. Maybe I just prefer how the game's presented with lesser graphics but I hated the visuals on the DS version and the game somehow felt a lot more boring on the DS than it did on the GBA.

Pixl, could I please ask you a question?

Why don't you buy a flashcard instead of buying Ghost Trick or other games?
You can get an AceKard + 2GB MicroSD for like $16, thats cheaper then Ghost Trick, and you could put all the games you want on it and play without the hassle of having all those cartridges.

Because he wants to buy his games?

I personally hate having a flashcart.
As soon as I get a job and after I buy the 3DS + some games for it, I'll start buying my favorite DS games. Owning a game has a special feeling to it.

Sadly I think he was...

But TWEWY is one of the epic games on the DS...The atmosphere of the game just screams epic. I think that's worth a try so I second every motion in this thread to try the game.

I see, all of you are ''Oh, noes, piracy is bad, mkay'' types.
Too bad xP.

You should get Super Robot Taisen W for your nds. It's very epic. it is massive in the sense of attacks and choices of mechs etc. I myself "imported it" with the english patch and I have to say it's in my top 5. I never finished it. and games I never finish are epic. I watched the 00 gundam series and it makes me wanna pick it up and finish it.

I pirate frequently, but if someone else chooses not to, it's stupid to say "No, don't give the developers money, I don't want a sequel!"

Cba to read replies and work out whether these have already been posted but I personally think Dementium: The Ward and Dementium II are pretty amazing. Spider-Man: Web of Shadows is ace, too. GTA: Chinatown Wars is awesome.

Nooo, I am not implying that.

I was just wondering what kept him from buying a Flashcard, seeing as GBATempt is full of guides, reviews and whatnot about them.
