Hacking Enhanced Mode Option

I was reading some reviews and found out that you can turn on/off the enhanced mode.. my current firmware is 1.41 and the option to on/off enhanced mode in the settings is not there.. was it completely removed so enhanced mode is now at default? is there a way to soft reset without going through the enhanced menu? TIA

enhanced menu has been found working totally problem-free and was therefore permanently implemented. If it were to be turned off, this combination would not result in a soft-reset, but in the game interpreting the combo.
