Hacking emunand + wiiware games

Hi everyone,
I followed the complete soft mod guide and I'm playing all my wii games smoothly.
Now I'm trying to play some wiiware games.
I dumped my emunand with usb loader gx.
I have a PAL console and I'm only installing PAL wads to avoid region problems. My cios situation is the following:
cIOS 249 base 56 v10 beta53-alt
cIOS 250 base 57 v10 beta52

Using 249 my wii launches hombrew channel instead (wtf?)
Using 250 only a couple of games work, the others go black screen or I get the game damaged message.

Any ideas? Thanks

The complete softmod guide recommends d2x beta53 and it shouldn't. It has emunand compatibility problems. Try putting beta52 as base 56 in 249 and see if it makes any difference.

So the same cios will behave differently with different bases? I had no idea, thanks I'll try that.
I read about neek2o, should I try that as well?

I did what you suggested (beta 52 on 249 and 250 now) but games still don't load.
