Strange, then why isn't my emuNand recognized by the Tool? What could be the problem?

I'm hoping at some point either this tool or MEC updates to extract RedNANDs (so much faster during the downgrade/A9 process than on-device.

Though I see source code is around, I'll poke and see.

sorry for the strange question,right now on my microsd i have an unallocated space of 2gb for the emunand(GW one)i made some week agoo the a9lh process and all was fine but i not wiped the emunand partition and tried to figure out today if i can at this rate!now i simply create a backup of my sd with usb image tool then restored to the new card and opened easeus partition manager,i find the 2gig unallocated partition and pulled away regaining all the microsd space,saved,extracted the sd from pc and putted on my n3ds all works fine,i haven't lost anything altough i have regained the space for emunand,i only want to know is it normale the process that i have done or not,d9 shows me that image now: http://imgur.com/twH5sZO before it says "emunand installed GW emunand" now nothing...sorry but because i can boot into emu,sys,or emuS still i want to know how is changed altough the space regain,tnx and sorry

Feature request.
Please add emuNAND detection for partitioned space with in partition table slots 1-3 and ID = 0xD3. This is used in the new rxTools.

Just because it have a signature with access of SD card master boot record.

I used this tool a month ago, and it worked perfectly. Today I tried to make a backup of the emunand, and this is what happens when I press "Extract emuNAND":

This is the italian for "the specified module could not be found". The same happens when I press "Inject NAND to emuNAND". What I am supposed to do?

How can I create an emunand partition directly from windows? What are the requirements, simply just an unallocated 2gb partition? Using something like MiniTool Partition Wizard. (I want to be able to control the allocation unit size.

Hi everyone , I am new for hacking3ds
I have a problem when I try to back up sysnanad to file with emunand9 (released: 2016/6/6) , new 3ds xl (ver 9.2.0 -20u) , access with home brew launcher 1.1.1.
Whenever I try it just fail.

Emunand9 system show the message:

" backup sysnanad to file : fail! "

I even try to format my sd card with emunand9 but still appear to failure

"Writing master new master boot record ...
Sd card I/o failure

I have formatted my sd card to 32fat but doesn't work

Hope anyone can help me to solve the problem.tq

This tool does not work for me anymore . Neither 1.0.1 or 1.0.3.
I get an error message that no emunand sd is detected for both injecting and extracting.
Last month it detected my mSD just fine.

My guess is it is because of win10. Last week i got a new update and now Emunandtool won't work anymore.

Are you running the latest ver of Windows 10? I recently updated my pc to the latest ver and now it doesn't detect the Emunand partition. I tried on my laptop which had older ver of Windows 10 and it works fine. The update must have broke something. Are there any alternative tools to extract nand using windows?

for me it doesn't work on Windows 10 anniversary update but it still works great on Windows 8.1

It stopped working after Anniversary Update (does not find an SD card with the Enumand partition)... before that update it worked fine under Windows 10.
Unfortunately there aren't valid alternatives for Windows... if the author is not going to keep it up-to-date at least I hope it will release the sourcecode.

Are you running it as admin?

Have you tried multi NAND creator?
