128gb cards come formatted as exfat so try getting it formatted to fat32 first and see if it helps.

Edit: Doh, slow typing on phone.

Are you using USB Image tool or emuNAND tool??

I recently moved over to a 128gb card using the same tutorial and had trouble using the USB Image Tool but emuNAND tool worked fine.

I somewhere read that emunand tool can cause problems with anything bigger than 100gb. Or having more than 100gb free. Just throw some stuff on there (movies, music idk), fill it up to say 50%, then try again. You can delete it afterwards.

Run EMUNAND9TOOL and extract EMUNAND partiton from the 32GB as EMUNAND.bin. Then back up the content of the 32GB. Run EMUNAND9TOOL on the 128GB and format emunand partition then inject the EMUNAND.bin. After that, copy the content from 32GB over to the 128GB

USB IMAGE TOOL create an whole image of the SD/USB so you back up 32GB of the card at the time and restore 32GB over the 128GB. In those times, 1 small error and the whole process goes to naught.

With the EMUNAND9Tool method, you can try many more times (if there some errors, not likely though) in the same amount of time spend back up and restoring using USB Image method.

There is (should be) no problem with emunand on a 128 GB FAT32 card, even when empty.
It just responds slower when using BBM, say, compared to a smaller SD card. But it works.
Just make sure you remove the 16 byte empty partition before formatting the bigger partition to FAT32.

Use the tool below. It will remove all partitions on a SD card, and format the whole card to FAT32.
In addition, it won't touch any of your HDD's by mistake, because it won't display them.

rubbish

I got the Sandisk 128GB 80MB/sec read one and it runs perfectly even if almost empty.
I admit, installing cia's on a 64 and 128 GB may take longer to start than on a 16 or 32 GB

Maybe it's just your card

I knew it was a 128GB heh
Brand, Model, etc

anyways, try the above solution (fill up some empty space) if you're not too adventurous, but it shouldn't matter on a good card
