ok so i went and downloaded snes4iphone and tried two different roms with it and each time i try to load them it says that it fails.can someone tell me if it just doesnt work for 4.0 or am i doing something wrong. i put the roms in the snes roms folder that was created when i downloaded it and when i try it just doesnt work.btw the games i tried were chrono triger and final fantasy 5 jap translated. thanks in advance

Do you have the bios?
Google them if you don't.

It's illegal for BIOS files to be distributed.
If a BIOS file came with an emulator, it make that whole download illegal.

So no, downloading an emulator doesn't mean that you also get the BIOS file.

oh ok i guess when i got it about 7 years ago it must have been included with it for some reason...what would it be labeled?just wondering.

SNES does not have BIOS files -_- Stupid forummites. BIOS is required for CD consoles mainly.

Have you tried simply reinstalling snes4iphone? Or uninstalling then re-downloading again (surely it'll remember you bought it). Or if you haven't bought it it may have been a bad crack.

Snes4iphone isn't perfect. Some roms just won't work. You just got unlucky to get two consecutive games that don't work.

That makes alot more sense.I looked u bios and nothing came up at all...ok might be a bad crack.does it read smc? Thought that might be a problem.

If it doesn't read the ROM format they simply won't show up in the menu. I think SMC is the format Snes4iphone uses though

Well i know this isnt the most helpful post, but are the games your looking for available on the GBA? The SNES and the GBA are kinda simular so i figure its worth a shot.

But i have a game that doesn't work on snes4iphone, but works on the ipad version. It's the same code, but it doesn't work. You should try to get another rom.

lol i had it too.. but i went with gba i cant have too many games clogging up my iphone.. just go with gba better graphics

I guess this happens for the same reason toast always falls jelly side down. (Don't ask me why) Just.. use another game or buy a snes for 5$.
