DESCRIPTION

Forwarder Generator Ultimate (EFGU) is a small Windows application that allows you to create and generate Forwarders (shortcuts on the Switch main menu) for any of your Ports, Homebrew applications,ROMs/games for many emulators such as RetroArch, Tico, DuckStation, and PPSSPP directly on the Switch main menu.

This eliminates the need to open the emulator, load the ROM, and waste time in that process.

This way, you can launch a ROM just like any native Switch game directly from the Switch main menu.

This ultimate version has been completely rewritten in another programming language to improve stability, efficiency, and eliminate false positives, while also adding new features not commonly found in this type of tool.

FEATURES

The application is quite simple: you load an image in a supported format, fill in the information to your liking, generate the forwarder, and install the NSP using whichever method you prefer.
I recommend copying it to the SD card and installing it directly with TinWoo.

-Does not require internet
-Does not require prod.keys
-Compatible with Firmware 22.1
-Allows selecting ROMs, cores, emulators, ports, and Homebrew applications directly from the Switch
-Compatible with Windows 7 SP1 and later
-Supports jpg,jpeg,png,bmp,gif,tif,jfif
-Multi-language Spanish & English

-Fixed the issue that generated false positives and false security alerts with antiviruses
-Until the application builds enough positive reputation, Microsoft Screen Defender will continue to display a warning the first time you use the app on your computer

-Compatible with the following systems:
RetroArch, Tico, DuckStation, PPSSPP, melonDS, mGBA, PSNES, PPSSPPGLES2, ArmsX2 by default, but you can also add the emulator of your choice
In the case of RetroArch and Tico, their most used cores are included, but more can be added.
You can add other native emulators if the one you are looking for does not appear.
In the case of applications, the most popular ones have been added
-Compatible with the ROMS that your emulator supports
-Multi-language help manual included

What's New in Version 2.1
This is a major update focused on stability and community suggestions

-Adjustment to the application name to reflect its capabilities
-Mode for homebrew applications and ports added
Now you can also make forwarders for your homebrew applications and ports
-Compatibility with the PlayStation 2 Core ArmsX2
-Compatibility with Winlator to be used on Android devices
-You can select emulators, cores, and applications directly from the switch
-Updated user manual that includes the tutorial to install the Forwarders on your Switch and how to connect your Switch to the application
-Improvements in application usability
-Now the application remembers your preferences such as language, the last mode you used, the last folder you used for your covers, cores, emulators, NSP;
-To avoid ID duplication issues on the console, a new ID is now automatically generated every time you load a new cover
-Fixed an error that added special characters to the name of the .NSP file when generating it, which prevented or corrupted its installation with some managers
-Removed the "Select from Switch/SD" option inside the options box and moved it to a button, as several users reported it wasn't very visible and felt impractical.
-Fixed reported bug in covers
-Minor corrections in the user manual
-Additional credits added in the manual for the people who contributed to this version

You just copied another person's project, you even had the audacity to use the same background and font.
COPIED?

Appreciate the feedback, but it seems there's some confusion regarding how the app works. To clarify a few points:

* **Documentation:** The project's basic description addresses most of these concerns.
* **Testing:** The app needs to be tested properly to understand its current functionality.
* **Credits & Codebase:** The credits clearly link to the project that inspired this. However, this is entirely custom code written in a completely different programming language.
* **Dependencies:** This tool does not use Hacbrew and does not require prodkeys.

There are significant differences between the two projects. Constructive feedback is always welcome, but it helps to review the documentation and test the tool first before say “its a copy”

If you look in the credits, he mentions it. However, I'm also having problems forwarding anything with Tico, while RetroArch seems to be working perfectly fine.
Why?
Youre talking about “default” combobox Tico paths?” or even selecting the cores from Switch youre still facing an issue.

Please let me know which error or issue are you facing

Im currently working on the v2.1 updates with new features and minor fixes, so if i can help with this one will be awesome before release it

I currently tested every Tico core with the official ROM paths but i could dig more about youre issue

For example when I’m using the trying to make a tico emulator for a GameCube game it just sends me back to the home menu? But I’ve put everything in the right spot didn’t change anything from the core location to the rom location

yes i think you're using the default cores in the combox,
TICO author released a new version and he change the location path of TICO .NRO, probably you're using an old version of tico
But not everything is lost, if you dont want to update, you can use the feature
choose from SD, connect your switch to the pc (please read the manual if you're not sure how) then select the tico cores directly from your switch, then do the same with the rom and will work :P
othe people just tested latest versions and is working normally.
in 2 hours ill update the app with some cool new features, minor bug fixes and usage improvement, you should test the new version
