So I am currently in the process of getting some wiiware titles working on my WiiU. The objective is to have them readily available as icons on my WiiU menu. After some digging, I think the general consensus of how to do this is the following:
1 - Install the wiiware (and DLC) wads in the vwii using any wad manager.
2 - Create a WUP installer containing a forwarder to the vwii wiiware app.
Step 1 is easy enough. Nonetheless, I have some questions regarding the WUP installer and the forwarder.
Using Teconmoon WiiVC inject "vWii NAND Title Launcher" option I can create a WUP installer of a forwarder, and even add classic controller emulation with the gamepad. However, I would like also to remove the deflicker of the wiiware game. How can I achieve this?
Do I need to hex-edit the wads before installing them to the vwii NAND?
Can I do this at the forwarder level? or at the WUP installer level?
UWUVCI gives me the option to remove the vfilter (and dithering) when creating a WUP installer with a Modmii created forwarder, but it does not let me add classic controller emulation. Any and all help and feedback would be immensely welcomed.

Bumping with some updates.
So I found out that modmii can remove de flicker from wad files, however I am kinda nervous about installing this modified wiiware game on my vwii (wiiu). Would it be safe or there is a risk of brick?

Bumping with additional information.

Modmii can remove deflicker from wiiware wads, and I have not encountered any brick from doing so. Installed wads on the vwii should be of the same region to further reduce the risk of any brick. Wiiu injects for said wiiware titles is easy enough with teconmoon nand title option, with the added bonus of using the gamepad as classic controller.
