Hardware Elink - Anyone get the in-game text viewer working?

So the Elink has an in-game text viewer for GBA games, but it doesn't seem to work correctly. Not for standard text encoding anyway. I can see the structure of the text file, but the characters look all scrambed. I'm guessing that it expects Chinese text.

Has anyone got this working for English text?

I know someone (read: talked with them on the internet) who just ordered this card from DealExtreme, and I'll see if I can have him try it out when he gets it. Whenever that will be.

heh i havent had the need to use this feature yet. but ill guess ill try it out. lemme go grab my cable.....
