spacejump help, why am i getting config file not found?

Did you put it into the root of your SD card?

EDIT: Please redownload the archieve. I made some code changes so when errors (such as config file not found) occur, you don't get a code dump but the Wii reboots.

@Cyan: I really don't think I will have the time to look into creating an animated banner. Maybe you could look into it if you find the time. For the first step a static banner would be enough though (OSW where are you

).

Sorry, that is a mistake in the config file. The .conf file has to be in the root of SD (corrected that in the archieve, redownload if you want).

I think I know why the app says that the path is incorrect. Can you please check if there are spaces or empty lines after your path? If so delete them and try again and report back.

# Elf/Dol Forwarder configuration file
# This file needs to be in the root of your SD card!
# Path to elf/dol file:
/apps/pong2/boot.dol (also tried with putting #before/apps)

that is by itself in the root directory, the config in the zip is what is on root SD

is that set up correct? and how does it find the path to the certain application, i dont understand it?

open channel, it then says eld/dol cannot find specified path to apps/geexbox etc eh WTF?? where does geexbox come into play with in the (config file)

Did you make new config file? You have to edit the path to the boot.dol/elf in the elf_dol_forwarder.conf file that comes with the archieve. The Geexbox path is just an example. It sounds as if you copied my elf_dol_forwarder.conf but didn't edit the path for your elf/dol to be loaded.

Try this elf_dol_forwarder.conf and see if Pong2 loads. Copy it to root of SD.

Guys, v0.2 is the Generic Elf/Dol Forwarder. It has nothing to do with the specific versions for Geexbox and MPlayerWii and so on.

Patryc, can you check in your .conf file if after boot.dol there are empty spaces or empty lines (go right with the cursor till the end, it must stop at the "l"). If so, remove them and try it again. Then report back.

I just tried again and it works for me.

Yes I know it is Generic but I wanted mplayer to work

I can't see that there are any empty spaces, I tried again but it says can't find dol

You see my conf. file? It looks ok yes?

Patryc, can you try it with this again?

Works... it was the path to.... that was wrong, see it now.

So it works haha, although my version of mplayer still dumps code because it expect to return to homebrew channel.

So apologies, it's working fine.

Your file: # Path to elf/dol file:
/apps/MPlayerWii/boot.dol

My file: # Path to elf/dol file:
#/apps/geexbox/boot.elf
/apps/MPlayerWii/boot.dol
