Could you please make a proper tutorial (a video would be nice). These steps would be nice to be described in depth
1. How to decrypt a rom from save data backup
2. A deeper tutorial on editing the banner
3. How to re-patch it and put the modified save game file on the actual game

sorry I've been busy I'll get to it as soon as I can.

If anyone wants this, I'm posting here

1. Extract and decrypt the rom file.
2. Download the attachment with the custom banner.bin you see in the screenshot above.
3. Move these files into a new folder to keep things tidy
-custom banner.bin
-icon.bin
-code.bin
-the generated rsf file
-decrypted exheader.bin
-decrypted romfs.bin
4. Now all you have to do is rebuild the rom. For that I used this: https://gbatemp.net/threads/tool-makerom-gui.376540/

Note: I realize this tutorial is pretty bad. If needed I will go in depth with a proper tutorial.

If you need any help or run into problems, please let me know and I'll try my best to help :)
How do I extract and decrypt a Rom?

I'm writing the tutorial now.

It will be in the tutorials section, don't expect it to be as pretty as the others :P

Anyone know to edit a VC 3D Banner ?
I want edit picture and text.
I have already extracted banner.bin and icon.bin from Super Mario Bros 3

You can edit icon.bin in Every File Explorer. But there are only pictures (big and small icons of the game).
Open icon.bin in EFE, export images to png, edit, import back to icon.bin, save.

Don't know about VC's icon.bin, though. But icon.bin from 3DS ROM works in EFE. Tested on Zelda ALBW.
