Hacking Question Edit emuNAND files on a PC

I have a clean NAND back up saved on my PC and now both Atmosphere and SXOS have emuNAND, I was wondering if there was any way to:

1 - On my Switch, through SX OS or Atmosphere, create an emuNAND with my current setup.
2 - Take the created emuNAND files on my PC and edit them to use my clean NAND backup.
3 - Put the new edited emuNAND files on another SDcard and use that SDcard as my emuNAND that I would put in my Switch for playing the games I own, online.

This resulting in a clean emuNAND that I can boot into for playing online while keeping my sysNAND a CFW infected mess.

I really want to avoid restoring to my clean NAND, creating a emuNAND and moving everything over to the emuNAND, restoring saves, etc.

This wouldn't really solve the issue though. You still have to boot into cfw to load your emunand, I'd recommend making the emunand with your current sysnand and then restoring the clean backup onto sysnand. Use sysnand only for online stuff and reboot to your emunand when you want to do anything not online-related.

So restoring a clean NAND will only affect what is on the sysNAND? I wont lose anything on the SDcard that is in when I am restoring the clean NAND?
Also, once I have my clean NAND resorted and my emuNAND sorted, like you suggested, how do I go about updating the sys-firmware? Do I use ChoiD or through standard update?

Correct, the entire point of the emunand is that it is separate from your sysnand.

If you've pirated games or something, those will probably disappear. I'd recommend moving your Nintendo folder to the proper location so it's only used by the emunand and not the sysnand, as that way you'll be able to use your emunand just like you're currently using your sysnand.

I mean, choi requires cfw, and you have a clean nand now...
