Hacking Eboot help

I've been trying to get an eboot of Street Fighter Alpha 3 working. It isn't. It has worked before, but then it started crashing after fighting Sakura during arcade mode. Now the eboot just straight up refuses to work. Any tips? I've tried different ones but it all leads to the same thing.

I suggest you to install Popsloader plugin in the psp/seplugins folder, and then try different versions of Pops (the name of the psx emulator inside the psp), holding down R when starting the eboot. If it crashes you will have to restart the cfw via fast-recovery (assuming you have cfw 6.6 pro C).

Doesn't crash back to the XMB, the screen just went black. I have pops installed and I've tried a few different versions. Now the eboot won't even open.

If you have tried several versions of Pops it may be that the last one tested is still active (in memory). Try to turn off (not just pause) the PSP and then reactivate the cfw via fast-recovery.
