Ebay alternatives?

I used eBay and Mercari are good to use.

Everyone can try Mercari. It accept normal credit / debit card and PayPal.

problem with ebay is unless you make your items the lowest price possible or they are the only one on there they don't sell you always sell at a loss no matter what you do. the golden days of selling your stuff within a week and getting 90% of what you paid for back are over

Yeah, whenever an item doesn't sell I either keep the same price until it sells or gradually reduce it little by little until someone buys it.

I only have about 40 items left to sell on eBay whereas my sister is pretty much a hoarder and no way would she be able to sell everything she has. If it were me, I'd either donate or throw it away. She even collects empty bottles of liquid soap, etc. There's something wrong with her.

better off using them than the shitty garage sale marketplace (don't ever try to sell anything valuable on there it's ONLY for getting rid of stuff you don't want anymore) or saudi tok!

also starting next month here it will be free to list and no final seller fees for ebay now!

So the down side of Mercari is they side with the buyer 100%. If the buyer has buying remorse, they can return. It falls 100% on the seller. Ive sold a sealed Ps2 controller, got it back opened. Ive sold sealed Cards from 1999, 1998. Got em back open. Nothing I can do.

Even sold a modchip switch, "game card error" return. Get it returned.... It's missing 80% of the screws holding it together

Companies that benefit from sales by average people (including eBay) learned long ago to ALWAYS side with the buyer. They figured out that they need buyers on their platform feeling safe to buy and will have no trouble at all finding sellers and don't need to cater to them. It's a real problem, unless you are a buyer or a buying fraudster. You essentially have to be prepared to be screwed on a item if you list it with one of these companies.

Unfortunately the world is infested with nasty people. (And a lot of them actually find it worth their while to justify their theft, but that's another subject involving "preservation" of games.)
