I'm having trouble about extracting a .wbsf file.

It said the "Wiimms" is the only thing that can. But is there another way?

I'm not good at these CMD prompt things. And I fear I might brick my PC if I did something wrong.

I already searched on Google and YouTube about how to use Wiimms. But there's no tutorial how to extract a .wbsf file.

Anyone can help a noob here?

thats not gonna work I dont think.
use wii backup manager:
to change the wbfs to ISO then have a mooch about for the video content in the ISO with wiiscrubber, using the 'extract' to copy files to PC.

good luck
:)

Hmm... I tried all of that. But it ended up as "Partition:0 DATA (0)(BAD)" in WiiScrubber.

Sounds like the partition is bad. It happens. I've replaced two WBFS files in my collection in the past six months. One was SMario Galaxy 2!

But renaming a WBFS file to ISO was never, ever gonna work. Those are two completely different file formats. You weren't going to trick a program into reading it by renaming it.

No need to rename or convert anything, just use WIT instead of tools like the WiiScrubber. That can handle almost any format.

Just install ( https://wit.wiimm.de/ ) then run "wit extract game.iso folder" and the game.iso will be extracted into "folder".

But the file I'm trying to extract is a .wbsf file, not .iso file. And I'm not sure how to "run wit extract game.iso folder"?

As @leseratte said, WIT is a great tool, but it's not always easy doing command line when your used to GUI programmes.
If you wanna PM me the video content you're trying to grab I could have a look and get it for you if you want?

I guess I could take your offer. In the end, I will never be good at these kind of stuff.
