So I am considering modding my wii after seeing all the different mods available now.

Which mod is the easiest/safest to do?

Anything with a wiiclip is the easiest to do (assuming you don't have a new epoxy covered d2e), you just have to make sure you have it aligned properly, and then just click it in to place and put some electrical tape around the chip. Voila. Just follow the pics/video in the sticky and you'll be fine.

install Homebrew Channel with Twilight Hack and then install Wiigator 0.3

alternatively...you could use that handy lil button in the top right called SEARCH [IMG]

A softmod is by far the easiest and safest.
The compatiblity is lower than a hardmodded wii, but I'm sure that will be improved.

backuploader might be the easier then opening your wii up, but with a chip, you don't have to worry if a game is going to work or not. It just does.

[not meant to rip on the backup loader, for it's limitations, it does well]

    lol nice.

I assume that if you softmod, it does not matter which wii type you have right?

a softmod will work on all current wii's
the steps may vary depending on your firmware.
