So i got ahead of myself And went online in pokemon sun/moon last year and was banned. I know about the unban methods but they don't let you use your nintendo network id So i want to know if i got a new 3ds console would i be able to use my nintendo network id on it and use things that require NNID like pokebank and nintendo badge arcade, Etc.

Sadly not, you could extract the LocalFriendSeed_B file from the non-banned one to use stuff like online features e.g. Friends list/online in game

How do the pokemon sun/moon bans work? is the NNID banned from being used on the console you went online on? or is the NNID banned from a 3ds consoles.

Well, you mean the 002 - 2182 ban? The console its self is banned, include the NNID apparently. There is a way to unlink the NNID but then becomes useless bc you can't re link or create another iirc

I can't remember but I think that was the error code, But what i mean is that the 3ds i have right now got banned from going online in sun/moon early i've unbanned it using a LocalFriendSeed_B file from one of my Non-banned consoles, But if i buy a brand new one would i be able to log on to that console with my NNID or will it be banned on that console too. That's what i mean by is my NNID just banned on the console it was banned on or is it banned on ALL 3ds consoles.

There is 100 percent no way to use pokebank or miiverse after a ban. Even with the localfriendcodeseed it still doesnt allow for the creation of new nnids, which is required for those services. The only way you could use an nnid again and be completely unbanned is if you system transfer from one 3ds to another. Downside is the second 3ds will be banned as a result.

So i can't just buy a New console and use that instead of transferring?

Well that works too. But im referring to unban a console.
Ok thanks this is basically all i wanted to know. Imo it's easier because i thought i would have had to transfer my data to the BRAND NEW 3ds i just bought and use the old one.

What do you mean what @Joom claims?

I tried for a week straight hoping a different rep will allow me to. Unfortunately you have to make a new of everything. Trust me Nintendo will not lift it at all on the console and your nnid. I lost all my downloads and purchases. They wouldn't even let me transfer my purchases to a new nnid or console.

I personally handled a call from the second highest person at Raytheon. That call bothered me a lot... The guy was nice and smart what bothered me was the way management basically just blew him off instead of going the extra mile to help him.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
In the end that call ended up costing Dell millions in lost contracts with Raytheon, and really the issue could have been solved for like 450 bucks lol

sometimes I wonder why anyone would ever buy mega man x legacy collection 2
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I always thought that capcom shuffled the games in these collection, but apparently they are all in chronological order, which makes legacy collection 2 worthless
