And the manager will resemble GLaDOS.At which point Steam Workshop will have transformed into a sentient factory powered by tiny nanomachine elves that bear a striking resemblance to Gabe Newell.

As somebody who has had to reinstall Windows on my son's computer after he attempted to install Mod Manager on that machine
This means jack. I've seen people think they need to reinstall windows because an icon moved or they wanted to uninstall something and didn't know how.
However I really, really agree that mods need official support, and hopefully 1.3 will do that. They've been holding back official mod support since 1.0.
I agree that it is too buggy and unfinished.I heard minecraft changed a lot. Is it even a sandbox anymore?
Well a sandbox implies you do a vast number of things so it never really was.
I think Notch needs help developing the damn thing. Oh wait, that's someone else's responsibility. The game is still incredibly unfinished and lacking in a lot of aspects. If it got a big name publisher like EA under it so they could, you know, actually make the game, then it'd be pretty neat.
EDIT: But this does absolutely reek of "Well Origin is kinda shit so we'll force more people to use it by segregating games to it." It worked for Battlefield, it worked for Mass Effect 3, but I can't think of any more big EA titles coming soon. So I guess if they can whore out Minecraft then it'd work.
Block building was always fun. Its just become better. At least Terraria made block building fun.
Terraria doesn't hurt like a bitch when you step on it.Legos? At least Terraria made block building fun.

He did get help with developing it. Jens Bergensten (also known as Jeb) turned it into an RPG.
