Hacking dvdx

i have installed dvdx while i installed hbc but i cant seem to read any discs i burn or a disc that can be read on drivekey wii so how do i know if its working properly

firmware 3.1
tried 3 different types of media and a few write speeds on each media
used img burn and nero
im thinking its not working if i cant read a disc that can be read on a drivekey wii

yeah wii games but no burn disc is getting read
should i be able to read a dvd through mplayer ce if it works

Exactly...DVDX is only for Movie-DVDs and Data-DVDs. NOT for "Backups". If you want to play Backups, get a cIOS (from Waninkoko or Hermes), a Loader (like NeoGamma) and play them. Though, since you have a Drivekey, there's no reason why you would want this...so...

ah ok thanks for clearing that up
i dont have a drive key another friend has 1 i was just comparing
currently am running cfg loader and hard drive just wanted to test burn discs too obviously i cant thanks for clearing that up

    i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

    Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
