Hacking DVD Read Error (137)

Hello, when I try to launch my backups, I receive a message saying "DVD Read Error (317). I have no idea what's wrong, so I'm hoping you do.
I am using Imation DVD-R 16x. I have tried burning with Nero 9 and ImgBurner.
My firmware is 4.0u and I believe I have the correct cIOS installed.

It's probably the brand of dvd-r you're using. Verbatim dvd-r are the most recommended, followed by TDK, and then Sony. Never use cheap brands like Memorex (which are always on sale), because they're known to produce bad backups. People will argue about burn speed, but I've always burned at 4x using Nero for my Verbatim dvd-r 16x media. The only coasters I ever made turned out to be bad ISO dumps, and everything else worked perfect on the first try.

Keep in mind that it could be your backups causing the problem, and not your loader or settings.
