Homebrew dusting off Wii U

I havent used my Wii U in a while. Its set up with Mocha and has BotW Euro version. Im sure there is a better way to get around the system by now. I have a bunch of 2TB external drives laying around and would like to put one to use. I'd rather not use mocha through browser any more. Home brew channel? that lets me use everything offline right? Do i need to remove mocha or anything? Or is there an easy way to start from scratch? Whats the recommended way or list of homebrew apps these days?

you might want to check out @Kafluke 's guide and get haxchi set up.

yup that is the guide i used in may 2016. I was kind of trying to avoid haxchi. I am reading Cyan guide on installing homebrew channel as channel. But still looks like i need to launch mocha on each boot. Ill look more into Haxchi thanks!

Well looks like you need to use Mocha one last time. Grab NNUpatcher and run that through the HBL, then you can use the eShop to grab your copy of the Wii U's bestselling title, Brain Age.
