I was hoping this would be dumped before I went to work

I'm mainly curious to see how the online play works out. I could be wrong, but I believe they're trying to do an abbreviated Diablo-type thing in the sense of co-op play online. You can do it locally too, but the idea of that type of online play on the DS is pretty cool. Not even Square Enix has offered anything like that in either Children of Mana of Ring of Fates...which, I think, they really should have.

Aw guys looks like this game got pushed back a couple days. According to ebgames its not released till the 15th now =( hopefully it wont get pushed back any more than that

The demo of the PSP version was so lame it nearly cracks the screen of my PSP, please god/ala/pachamama/shaunj66/Huitzilopochtli/Kratos/Hades/David Blaine make this one a good one, PLEASE!

I'm tempted by this game as it looks maybe good. I'm picky...Etrian Odyssey is a huge turnoff, and the Deep Labyrinth game is crap too. I love Orcs & Elves though so I dunno. This game reminds me vaguely or so of what I did love on the GC for awhile that fun romp with that D&D like top view game Baldurs Gate.

Vampire, you are talking about Baldure's Gate Dark Alliance, I LOVE IT.

Looking at these pics just reminds me of juggy movements of Assassin's Creed, hope its movements is not like that *goes praying*

God may not be listening on this one. Playing the Japanese version -- which, with the exception of the language change, should be the same -- I'd have to say, yeah, the framerate's a bit choppy. That said, it shouldn't affect the gameplay in the same way that poor framerate affects Altair's Chronicles. DE is a hack & slash, whereas AC's main attraction is its Prince of Persia-like platforming. Heck, if you look back to the first Diablo, DE is almost right on par with it in terms of texture resolution and framerate. I think if you liked that game, chances are you'll also enjoy this one.

hope so! but I cant get along with those choppy movements of @$$@$$in's creed, hope this one is smooth. I would prefer a 2D port of Diablo II, phew.

Yeah, it's funny, a lot of us have thrown around the idea of how great Warcraft would be on the DS, but RTSes haven't run as smooth on the system as we thought they would. But a game like Diablo surely would, and I'm really, really surprised Blizzard hasn't tried to cash in on the success of the DS. Of course, they probably don't need to. They were doing well before World of Warcraft, but now they're a runaway monster devouring the world of online gaming. It'd still be nice, though, to see Diablo on the DS, but I'd much rather have an original Diablo DS title than a port / remake. The touchscreen would make a wonderful interface for equipping your character and selecting spells / skills.

I was reading over at GameFAQs that the WiFi co-op is only for the last few levels of the game. That kinda blows if it's true. My nephew and I were planning to WiFi this one all the way through. Seems as if that won't be possible. :'(

You know, they need more co-op games on the DS. Battling against each other never seems as fun to me as co-op does. The games could be much deeper in co-op rather than versus. Less stupid disconnecting and cheating too.

Agreed, I used to Co-Op Halo (the first one) with my brother, it was so much better than playing Single player/Deathmatch games, Co-Op is just more fun generally.

yeah but Co-Op is harder to develop and takes more time (if not double the production time) than to draw some maps and let you frag each other.
