Other then obvious ones like Ring of Fate and Echoes of Time, are there any good dungeon crawlers on the DS?

Soma Bringer is the best one you'll find. It's actually an amazing game. You'll have to get the (U) lang patch, since it's (J) only.

There's Phantasy Star 0, it's great if you into long grinds and has Wi-Fi multiplayer.

If you want First-Person Dungeon Crawlers,
You might want to check Etrian Odyssey (II) and
Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey.

If you like Diablo for PC, then you'll probably like Dungeon Explorer: Warrior of Ancient Arts. It's similar to Diablo in playing style, and the graphics could be considered damn close.
Master of the Monster Lair isn't exactly a dungeon crawler, per se, as you make the one dungeon you explore for the whole game, but it's considered a dungeon crawler.
If you need a first person fix, try Fighting Fantasy: The Warlock of Firetop Mountain. It's a great little game that at first glance appears to be very similar to The Elder Scrolls, but is more of a dungeon crawler than an awesome world of awesome. Kind of lackluster, though, and the graphics aren't exactly top notch.
There's also The Dark Spire, which is a throwback to those old first person adventures on the older systems/computers. I didn't really like it, but it IS a nice looking little dungeon crawler if I ever saw one.

There's also Soma Bringer and Phantasy Star Zero, as others have already said.

Amazed, absolutely AMAZED that no one has mentioned:

Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer

Random dungeons every time.

Plays like Rogue - the original dungeon crawler (after text adventures).

Mystery Dungeon games are considered dungeon crawlers?

Then I'll suggest every Pokemans Mystery Dungeon game ever known to man! XD

Didn't like Phantasy star too much, LOVING Soma Bringer!

keep em coming

I don't blame you, Soma Bringer is pretty awesome, what with the skill trees, smash-em-bash-em gameplay, intuitive controls, awesome graphics, pumpable equipment... and the storyline's topnotch. it's the whole shebang.

don't forget to hunt for them side-bosses! those are sick. XD

big fan of Shiren the Wanderer though (and Rogue. and Nethack, for that matter. and Angband. XD). it's ridiculously unforgiving. you really can't afford to go slack for one bit, not even if you think it's safe. finishing it though is extremely satisfying as well, and the weapon grinds are heavenly--just don't forget to focus in combat. nothing sucks more when you lose that +50 weapon with tons of mods because you weren't paying attention to that monster that disarms you and sends it flying awaaaaaay~... T_T
