Hacking Dumping 3DS Games

You can access the settings without a Gateway card but seen as he has an MT-Card I don't think it will work cause you need to install the new 2.1 Omega update before you can use the dump. I'm not 100% sure though but if he is rite just put the launcher.dat file on your SD Card and enter settings hold down L on DS Profile set up and go to dump and dump your game.

You only need the gateway "red" card to enter "gateway mode", don't need it to actually get to the menu where you can dump your games, format emunand etc. Only need to have the exploit installed and you should be good.

Just use the gateways launcher and pick dump 3ds game it will be saved to the SD card, just copy it onto your msd and rename extension to. 3dz, then switch back to MT's launcher


.....;..... I wonder how MT made their "own" online feature if they don't even have a way to dump the games

Yes, it does dump to the SD card on your 3DS console.

The "red card" as people is calling is the actual Gateway card.
You only have to run the exploit the same way you would do for a MT-Card (so you are going to need a DS flashcard compatible with the 3DS), but instead of using the launcher.dat provided by MT-Card, you will use the one provided by gateway, dump your game, and then revert the launcher.dat to the one provided by MT-Card to run it.

I think (especulation here) that dumps made with gateway launcher are good to go on the MT-Card. Also, the gateway launcher will enter in the options without the need to hold L, it only goes straight to "Gateway Mode" when you have a updated Gateway Red Card inserted at the 3DS slot.

MT has released the omegaMT fpga update they just haven't got the game dumper copied yet so users have to cut out the middle man and use the gateway launcher for the purposes of cart dumping, you don't even need a gateway card at all to just use the dumper

I say, he should go and take a big dump with his Gateway file and make sure he wipes his ass with it soon after!

just replace your launcher.dat with the gateway2.2 boot the nintendo ds profile exploit to enter in the gateway omega menu dump your retail card after that shutdown 3ds replace launcher.dat with the mt card one, renamed the dumped rom file that was dumped into the sd card from .3ds to .3dz, copy to micro sdhc and enjoy your game
