Hacking Dumb wii issues.

I have a wii sitting around my house ive had since juneish, i haven't put any time into remodding it because i hate doing it. i told my friend not to update, he updated and his homebrew dissappeared, games still play through the backup launcher and rom still work but i cant access homebrew! any clues or suggestions?

false The latest update fails to remove the newest HBC and it also fails to uninstall cIOSCORP as the IOS's have there version numbers maxed out. It will not overwrite software that the system reports as newer.

how is he NOT running banner bomb? I ran banner bomb on a 4.2 wii right from the SD slot on the main menu. Keep in mind, this Wii had never seen a mod before in it's entire life.

fool, there is 2 different bannerbombs, so there is 2 different ways of launching it
