Hacking dumb question about cubic ninja

Just got a 3DS on 9.0 firmware and a copy of cubic ninja and i was wondering... Can i play the game just fine before getting a gateway or do i risk screwing something?

as far as i know, just playing the game won't do harm to the cartridge's exploit
also, CN exploit is only for N3DS, not O3DS as mentioned in the OP

I don't understand your question. If you are just wanting to play the game, you're fine. If your wanting to run homebrew via ninjhax, you're also fine. The exploit only modifies the save on cubic ninja and Ninjhax runs from within the game. You close the homebrew browser and your 3ds is back to normal.

Edit. Nvm, I see, for the gateway exploit. No, you should be fine.

you can even play the game still, you only loose the custom levels feature, afaik the main game will still function fine even with the exploit installed to it
