I don't even care about Duke Nukem Forever anymore. Honestly, any game that goes through this much development hell is bound to bomb if it ever sees the light of day.

The only thing the game has going for it is its title, which accurately describes its development time.

Which it probably won't since no one cares any more.

I have a feeling this game is gonna be released eventually, having gone through hell and back, and is gonna suck. It'll be there and no one will care since Duke Nukem was a character that unfortunately was drowned under the tidal wave of characters since his popularity rose.

I just think Gearbox should drop this crap and make Borderlands 2 like a good dev.

The storyline cant suck cuz itll have about as much depth as my bellybutton
The shooting of things/people/aliens ... how can they make that suck? ;p

well starcraft 2 has become truly famous although it had a much different style of gameplay than any other strategy game hence it has succeeded now with the anticipation as a catalyst

if not for guinness then for the few ppl who are still looking to see what was left in this game

ANYWAY: There's a difference between taking your time, and having actual game development problems, which may or may not end up being smoothed out, depending on the skill and knowlege of the developer.

And judging by the hiatus of this game, I can't really vouch for them in terms of skill. What could they possibly be doing in there all this time?
