Dubquake v1.3

That was me. I read that it didn't work on SCDS2, so I wasn't very happy and told the creators of this homebrew to get fucked. A bit of an overreaction on my part...
Lol that is beyond overreaction...IMO that actually borders nonsensical...homebrew problems are usually because of dldi...at worst, you have been bashing on the Supercard team, but from your reaction, that obviously wouldn't happen.

One day later and still no confirmation email. When I try to register with the same email, it says that it's already in use zzzz.
There's plenty of new members on the list, so I guess I'll try with a different email a bit later.

Has anyone managed to get this to work? To give some impressions and stuff like that would be great.

Man, same here. It's been more than 15 hours, and I still haven't gotten my confirmation email.

could this be a trick in order to obtain email addresses?

you guys are lucky to even get to the homepage / registration page, they won't load for me. I just get Google's

"Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to www.dubquake.net"

The only way i can get it to work is by going to 'cached copy' and then 'Text-only Version'. But obviously i can't do anything with that....

Hmm, maybe the project IS dead now and that's why I couldn't connect to the game server.
That would be really sad.

I was really looking forward to playing this. But who knows, maybe now someone got the idea to make his own NDS MMORPG.

My friend is ordering a flash cart, once he gets it we'll have to try this out (I hate playing MMOs by myself/with pubies) it looks pretty cool.

Ugh, just read the rest of this thread and realized it's no longer up. NEVERMIND.

shame i can't play it on my DSL...don't have WEP internet and don't want it as it's not as secure for the computer.

While WEP is relatively easy to crack using WEP instead of WPA doesn't mean opening your wifi up to anyone nearby, it means opening it up to anyone nearby who has a packet sniffer, time on their hands, knows what they're doing, and has a reason to want to waste time trying to get on your home wifi (also known as nobody)

More to the point, if you're really desperate to have secure wifi don't bother with WEP or WPA, just do a mac address whitelist.

this thread from 2011 just got me some GBAtemp XP, or whatever. that notification made me look this thread over and i'm leaving a link to the old project page via the "way back machine".

so much great stuff came out for the ds, so much of it was abandoned and never completed. =(

Was the source or server software ever released for this? I remember quite enjoying this when it was up.
