Ordered a DSTWO a little over a month ago at modchipcentral. Was planning on giving it to my girlfriend in Mexico, who I'd be seeing in a month.

As the thread name suggests the DSTWO has been seized by US customs before I could receive it.

Has anyone had success in overturning the seizure?

Theres really nothing you can do now thats its been siezed
It will be sent to nintendo to be destroyed

Modchipcentral probably made a mistake on the customs declaration and called it a flashcart instead of memory card adapter

of the ds-mode enabled flash kits, only the ievo (from what i can recall) shipped blank. all other carts contain copyright data. you might want to try ordering from real hot stuff. they are in NJ and ship priority, so there won't be any import issues.

Yeah I suspected it would happen since the UPS tracking data had a couple cases of holds placed on it. Got a letter earlier today about it. Will probably cut my losses and accept forfeiture then, and buy from RHS.

EDIT: when it comes back in stock, at least. gah.

Actual seizure?
I have not seen this before, at least not outside of people bringing in a whole crate. We see import duties all day long but I can not recall a seizure before.

Looks in stock to me. If you want the best price, their HK division is selling them for $35, got mine the other day from them after 10 days of ordering, no customs issues.

Ah yeah, looks like they must have gotten the extra stock within the hours since I checked since it's back up.
