I bought a DSTwo Plus a few months ago, and only recently tried it in my N3DS since the used DS Lite I had been using it with died. The problem is that it seems to get extremely hot in the N3DS, even when I'm not actively using it. As long as it's in the system, it seems to get pretty hot pretty quickly.

Is there a way to underclock the internal CPU or something to make it less hot? I really don't need it for GBA stuff, I mostly just wanted it because it'd work without me having to patch firmware on Sysnand.

It looks like Nintendo won't block new ds flashcards anymore. ;)
AFAIK there is no way to underclock the dstwo plus, but it is really weird that it heats up.
The technical differences between dstwo and dstwo plus aren't too big, but my dstwo isn't even warm if I use it.
