The actual card itself feels flimsy. I'm seriously afraid to put any pressure on it at all. Putting the microSD card in is nerve wracking because it gets caught on things easily inside the card, and when I take it out I can feel a lot of clicking and what I thought was the spring loader breaking the first time I took it out. I'm not going to be touching it much, anyway, so I'm not too concerned about it, but be careful when handling it.

I'm quite scared about this.. Do more people agree with Kentoss?

its nothing really big deal

Yeah, I just clicked it back together and put it in my DSi and it's fine. Just gotta be careful with it otherwise, but like I said in another topic: It's not made of tinfoil.

When I first noticed this with my card i was like

I'm quite surprised by how many other buyers had the same issue with their's, but it was no big deal.

Thanks guys, now I have only one more problem, buying the DSTWO or Read dead: Redemption.. DumDumDuuuumm

Now there's a choice, 2 must haves. I guess i'm lucky to be able to afford both as i have RDR pre-ordered.

Actually, i am pretty curious on this

What is iDS Anti-Piracy?
QUOTE said:
Now, new game include some code can detect it's orginal cartridge or flash cart. When game running, these code will detect the cartridge, if it's flash cart, it will stop to work, that why some game can play, but after stage 1 will stop working. This call Anti-Piracy.

As I know, the Anti Piracy has three methods.
1. Check the cartridge speed. (all flash cart need patch, include DSTWO)
2. Check the difference from orginal cartidge and flash cart. (DSTWO cpu can emulate orginal cartidge, no patch need, others flash cart need patch.)
3. Check the CRC, if game pacthed, it will not work. (DSTWO can auto run in Intelligent clean mode)

Actually, method 2 use most. Utilizing the CPU, DSTWO can emulate orginal cartidgecan, pass through and bypass any anti-piracy measures which is the first cart to do so. Most of the games will never need to be patched to run. So DSTWO compatible will be the best and the fast.

i think i had mentioned this...
prior the official release dementium2 didn't work and it was fixed on the official release

meanwhile, i had tested on this new game - Jam with the Band EUR MULTi5 NDS-EXiMiUS and it doesn't work on both patched and clean rom....

this is what i got:-
LOAD ERROR screen (upper screen)
Failed to load data. turn off the ds system, reinsert the game card and try again (bottom screen)

so my questions are...
how mighty is the hardware thingy they claimed?
whether they had implemented it?
maybe this is not an AP issue?

I have a question. Are saves between No$gba and DSTWO compatible? Or do I somehow need to convert them?

you need to convert them
go to these sites
-shunyweb.info
-http://saves.uniquegeeks.net

sorry, for my noobness, but i cant see DSTWO as the file to convert to.... how will this work?

I'm pretty sure you convert them to a raw save.

Perhaps I should add this option (just the name, not a new format) to my conversion tool, that is as soon as this is confirmed

This may seem a bit of a waste of a post, but I won't be posting my in depth thoughts on the SCDS2 online just yet. I'm waiting until my review broadcasts in the next episode of the Tempcast. As much as I'll say here is that I am impressed with it.

dstwo uses the same .sav type as dsonei

Good thing I found this thread, I totally didn't want to start a new one just to say this...

Bawww I'm in nostalgia heaven right now. I don't have anything helpful or new to report, but I've been blissfully playing Breath of Fire on this thing for two and a half hours now...and sure, I could emulate this game easily on other platforms but ITS ON MY DS SLOT 1 and somehow its satisfying right now Cause I put lots of love into my DSes and being able to play these games on it now is pretty sweet. I'm happy I heard about this thing before I went and bought a slot-2 flashcart. Hehehe...I've not gotten to test any other games that usually have problems, like Pokemon and whatnot...I can't wait til this cart is perfected.

One thing though, I totally almost broke it trying to get it out of the package...now, I may have been just a tad overzealous in trying to tear it out but the card itself IS a little flimsier than I expected. Buuut nothing being a little extra careful can't cure, right?

They advertised SNES, it isn't there. They advertised GBA emulation, and used old technology that they didn't even bother to improve on. The build quality is flimsy, shaky, and poor. I want my 40$ back.

Hey I am back...I tried to read other posts, not totally sure if anyone else mentioned this....Is anyone else having trouble removing the card from their DS? It doesn't completely spring up for me...I mean it'll come out but it just pops up part way and I have to kind of slide it all the way up and out of the slot.
