Hacking DSTWO not read by NDS

I am using the old, silver, fat, NDS and it will not read the DSTWO. I tested the cart on another console, DSL, which worked, so I know the cart works. I have just put the latest EOS on the sdcard, 1.11.

Do I need to install a different OS or firmware to gain compatibility with the older NDS? The supercard English website does not work, so I have no idea what information could be found there.

maybe the problem is on your DS. Have you tried another flash or retail cart?

I just tried Super Mario 64 DS, actual cart, which worked fine. DS is working fine, it was used a few times when new then re-boxed and un-boxed a few days ago.

The DS works fine, and the cart works fine, but not together.
