Not really impressed... It can't edit txt files. And it can't support opening images with a huge dimensions but moonshell can.
Well...it's not a text editor.

I'm a little disappointed though, none of my PDF files seem to work.

I won't read you PDF's? This is dissapointing. I'm going to try it out on mine and see if it will work.

Granted, I didn't expect one of them to work (since it had incredibly massive images in it) but stinks that the other ones don't either (I was especially hoping the PDFs I have of the local bus schedules would work).

hmmm I have a Question pls :
How to Sort the Plugins??? Because i will Put the I Reader To the First of my Plugins! after then comes the NDS_Game plugin hehe but how can i Sort my Plugins???!!!

Is it possible to download full mangas from sites like Onemanga and mangafox?

sites like these just take releases from groups, extract them and put the individual images on their site

if you want the source you need to find the group website for the manga scanlator in question

example heres one for bleach

http://ju-ni.net/

The reader locks up when I turn the pages on a pdf. I wish Supercard could release one thing that wasn't buggy as shit.

The best way I find is

> Copy the '/dstwoplug/' folder to your PC
> Delete all the plugins on the DSTwo flashcard
> Copy each plugin 'set' - consisting of bmp/ini/nds (or plg) over one-at-a-time, in the order you want them to show on the plugin screen

So if you want the order of 'DS_game, GBA Emulator, Moonshell, iReader'
- Copy over all the DS_Game files first (DS_Game.bmp/ini)
- THEN copy over the GBA emulator files (gba.plg/bmp/ini)
- THEN copy over the Moonshell files (moonshell.nds/bmp/ini)
- Finally copy over the iReader

It could be a lot better but at least it is working... sorta.

Loading a PDF of about 1 MB takes a good couple minutes and then turning a page takes about a half minute. Oy vey, this is going to take forever.

EDIT:

Can't zoom above 100% which kinda makes some of this useless on the DSL sized screen.

QUOTE(viz @ Jul 9 2010, 07:09 PM) yeah pdf needs work - everything else ive tested works great though
Mind you - you got to remember that there's ~7 different versions of PDF files avaliable. It not as though the first version of a PDF viewer gonna be perfect for all the different types - & of course it also depends on HOW the PDF was created in the first place

- some PDF's I've come across I've found that the person who create the document didn't 'optimize' the graphics (leaving them @ 24/32-Bit when they contained

Ok we got a GBA emulator that doesn't work well. Now we have a PDF reader that doesn't work. Next will we get a movie player that's all half assed? I don't see why SC doesn't concentrate on getting one feature right before moving on to the next. Instead we get a ton of half baked features that they may never fix.

Btw, the PDF I used was just a PDF of HTML converted text. So there was no graphics involved. There is some bottleneck with just PDF reading in general.

I used this service -> http://www.htm2pdf.co.uk/ 1.1 MB PDF.
1.3Mb for a webpage ??? - that's one long webpage of text

....
Still if it was just text - I agree that the PDF support will most probably need some (major) work done on it

EDIT: - Ermmm I clicked on that link & it pointed me to a PDF download of a GBATemp webpage... is that what you used ???
'cos that's got quite a bit of graphics in it (>71 at least I Think) & there's 8 differnt types of Font being used as well

EDIT#2: nvm - it seems what it actually did was assume that I wanted the webpage I was currently on 'converted' to a PDF - which is this Thread
