thanks for all your help. So is there another gba emulator out there? its gonna be impossible to play the current emulator because my finger touches the x button everytime i play.

nope, they haven't released the source code for ndsgba, so your stuck with what you've got

For best compatibility with the NDSGBA emulator:

First, you need to download v1.21 of NDSGBA and extract the files to the root of your microsd card (an older version, so don't update it). Then, download game_config.txt and put that txt file in your microsd's NDSGBA folder.

So i can't use any avi video's directly without having to convert them to dpg everytime?

That's right, however the quality of moonshell dpg videos is higher than any unconverted videos played in iplayer because moonshell uses real-time dithering to compensate for the lack of colours on the DS screen.

I downloaded it and i put the xlm unzipped file in the root. did i do this correctly? Its not showing that i have any cheats on the ds.

if i convert a 4gb full movie to dpg or using the program SUPER( to 256 resolution), what would the size of that movie be once its converted?

where do i download snes, sega and gba cheats. Do i put those cheats on the root?

Some of the cheats are not listed for NDS for some of the games that i am playing. Where do i get those cheats from and How do i add cheats for the games that are not listed.

dunno, somewhere around 400MB maybe? (you may want to check out the dpg4x converter)

GBA cheats, SNES cheats, only put in the .cht file for the game if you've actually got that game on ur dstwo, because you have to scroll through the list to get to the cheats for a specific game

for NDS cheats, make sure you have the latest version of usrcheat.dat (placed in the _dstwo folder), if there aren't cheats for your specific game you can add cheats using r4cce

For snes, i downloaded the zipped file and unzipped the file in the gamecht folder. After that, i don't know how to upload the cheat.

I tried to play a snes game. I upload the game and the game was showing on the top screen. Then i went to the cheat folder and clicked on Load cheat file and then clicked on CODES folder. The CODES folder is frozen, it freezes the whole NDS, it won't open so i rebooted the NDS. I know you said, choose the games that you want to play, but before i installed it on my dstwo card, i looked inside the codes folder and it didn't seem there were many games, so i installed all the games in the code folder.


For GBA codes. I upload the game, and then i go into the cheat file on the NDS, and then click on Load cheat file , i can see all the games inside the cheat files. So that is good. The only thing is, how do i know if the cheat is actually working, i don't the cheats working the game. How do i know if the cheats are working inside the game. I tried to play the game Final Fight and after i uploaded the cheat for it, i can't see the changes taking place with the cheats.

do i keep the zipped file that i downloaded from filetrip.net inside the cheat folder, or do i only put everything that i unzipped inside the cheats folder?

you have to take all of the .cht files out of the code folder and put them all in the gamecht folder

I tried that with snes and it is still frozen. I took the game cheats out of the code folder and i put them in the gamecht folder.

I have to reboot now, it freezes the NDS everytime.

how does it freeze it? what are you looking at when it freezes?

it only freezes when i click CODES Folder. So i did what you recommened and removed the games and i put them in the gamecht folder. After doing that, it frozen again . I press all the buttons, and nothing works, everything is frozen. So i reboot the NDS. It only freezes when i go to that section.

don't know what to tell you, i've never tried to use the cheats in the snes emulator
