Hacking DSTTi vs Acekard 2i

I just got a DSi which Flash Cart is better the DSTTi or Acekard 2i, are either of these cards safe from future updates?

I had a TTDS for my DSLite, and I am going to have an Acekard 2i for my DSi. I have studied both of them, and in general, the Acekard 2i is better. Acekard 2i has AKAIO, and AKAIO is updated a lot more than DSTT's firmware, that means that your favorite game that just got released could be patched in 2 days of the release by the AKAIO team and the DSTT firmware can be updated in 3 months.

Anyway, in my opinion the Acekard is better, but that doesn't mean that the DSTTi is a bad cart, it does it job pretty well.

YSmenu (DSTT custom firmware, which is a lot of hassle to set up) is not as good as AKAIO (Acekard custom firmware, which is so easy to set up, a monkey could do it). Both cards' official firmwares haven't been updated for a long time.

...And the DSTT is in a similar state as the R4 (lots of clones), but the difference is that the TT Team put a fake DSTT killer in it's official firmware (although the fake killer can be removed, and that a lot of R4 clones use a modified DSTT firmware).

It's not like he's going to WinRAR them is it? Although perhaps some people hold their flashcarts very tightly.

Never tried the other flash cart before. I've owned 2 Acekard 2i and never had a problem. I would recommend the Acekard.
