As an owner of both I can tell you that the AK2 is miles better than the DSTT. The build quality isn't quite as good in some ways but better in others. The firmware for the AK2 beats the DSTT like Rocky kicking an old womans ass.

As much as I like YSMenu, AKAIO is a much better and much more professional looking/running firmware.

what about dstt with ysmenu?
YSMenu is very nice, but it doesn't have all of the features the AceKard 2 offers. Besides, you can also run YSMenu on the AceKard 2, and it will probably be better because of the compatibility.

It doesn't really matter. The only real difference is the USB reader. The second one is said to be an AceKard 2.1 which has better build quality.
