[v1.17] 2009-01-06
* add clock
* display the unique hardware serial number of DSTTi (VID)
* fixed some errors of kernel menu
* fixed some errors of 2949,3049,3191 rom
Question) firstly is this DSTT real from DX and if not then i take it its not recomended to install this update?
Saying all that my friend ordered the exact same cart from DX and i installed the v1.16 which is supposed to contain the kill code but his card was ok after.
Also clearly states:
- Genuine NDSTT.com (DSTT official site) product guaranteed: all shipments of this product are guaranteed to be the genuine card as posted on the official DSTT website.
Dont think they would link cndstt cart users to ndstt site no longer after all the fake stuff going on with the fake killer code.
The clock is a digital clock plus date
and
we can see the game avatar on the upper menu
well, just incase... you can google for these files and refer to http://www.gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=126156
FakeRecovery_v1.16a + DSTTDUMP.bin for older DSTT fake
works on the following chips
Note that 1.17 of the official menu contains fake-killer code. If you have a fake, replace TTMENU.DAT with the version here which has the fake-killer code disabled: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=4477
I guess I was getting my hopes up about this firmware. It still doesn't sort on Files Names or display Folder Names if you have games in folders. I really liked that feature in the original R4 to help organize the games / apps. Would be really usual now with the 8GB of storage and 100s of files to scroll through. I was also expecting the rest of the games to be fixed like SW Clone wars. Oh well.

I agree. I have gone back to YSMenu. I admit that TTMENU does look pretty. The scroll bar is nice. I personally like it displaying the total # of games installed. Filename sorting and folder use of YSMenu is better. I can live w/out the scrollbar, date/time and # of games.
Hmm, so the only things I noticed that changed were the lower-right square animation (which I think turned black and white instead of blue and white at startup) and the...erm...clock.
Oh well, at least there IS a clock now ^^;
Kinda clashes with all the current DSTT themes though.
