I just got my DSTT.
The problem is, sometimes DS doesnt recognize it but sometimes it does.
I have to take out and put in DSTT again and see if it works or not but whenever it get recognized, it works ok.

also, confirmation on Contra 4 here.

That seems to be a not-so-uncommon problem with the contacts. I'd exchange it for a new one if you can.

Read some of the other threads on the topic, but it sounds to me like people are putting paper or cardboard into the DS slot before inserting the cart, to help push the cart tighter into the contacts.

i have 2 dstt carts and they worked "ok" for about a week.... They both steadily degenerated and became more and more difficult to finagle, now neither one will boot:( ....(my R4s have worked flawlessly though)....i think its something in the DSTT is flawed(bad solder or something)....

I've had mine for several weeks and haven't had any problems with it. I don't remove it very often though. There's really no need to remove it (I take out the microSD card without removing the cart, and with ComBox or some other FTP solution, you wouldn't even necessarily have to do that).

Like I said, there are apparently batches of these carts that have bad contacts, but most seem to work fine. I recommend that anyone purchasing a DSTT make sure they can exchange it if they get a bad one.

they are in a directory called NDS. the setting seems to be ok since whenever i take out and put back the cart, it recognizes.

i doubt this problem is caused by putting roms in NDs folder.
