After buying two DSTT cards and not having any problems with one of them I was getting frustrated with the other as it would only load very occasionally. This was on any one of four DS's. Tried the bending card, packing with cardboard and any other trick to no avail. Then tried sanding the contact side of the card slightly hoping the pins would contact better, still no joy. As there are none in stock anywhere thought I'd take it apart and have a play.
Taking it apart requires a bit of brute force with an instrument screwdriver, there are no screws. What I did next was cut out the plastic seperators between the contacts and superglued it back together. Surprise, surprise, it worked first time. This method is a bit extreme and maybe you could do it without taking the card apart but it did work when nothing else did.
