Isn't Basically what you guys' are working on is the browser? Why don't you just make a different browser program aside from the DSOrganize. The Browser could hold more memory instead of having to share it.
No, he's working on all the bugs, and replacing the entire FAT library.
Besides that, 'browser' refers to a program used to explore around. There's a file browser and a web browser, both of which are completely different things.

Out of interest, is there any chance of this version caching to a SLOT-2 device like the 3-in-1 instead of using the microSD constantly?
