Hacking DsOne vs DsTwo

So the R4 does everything the DsOne does but can only use 2gb sd cards? And what is the Real time stuff you see advertised with the DsOne?

Forget the R4, the Wood firmware is great if you already had one from when they were good 2-3 years ago... now they're a historical curiosity... Go for either Acekard 2i (if budget is tight) or one of the Supercards - one thing that history shows is that the Supercard team supports their hardware for ages (still putting out updates for their slot 2 cards a million years after the slot 1 stuff came out)...

RTS: Save whenever while playing a game.
RTG: Open up a guide of the game, while playing if you get stuck.
RTC: Activate cheats, while playing in game.
Cheat Search: Open up a (hex editor?) while in game to create your own cheats. (It's only for the Supercard DS2, I believe)

But can't I just press Start>save game like you do in the actual game, pokemon for example.

Well not every game has that option. Hence why they have that option

. I use an AK2 and I'm more than satisfied with it despite it not having RTS.

you can do that but not the case for all games
RTS is pretty useful when it comes to action/side scrolling/shooting games/puzzle games

it is also pretty useful for some RPG games
where you can only save at specific area
by the way, RTS is definitely a PLUS for games like dragonquest9 where they only have 1 slot for save game

Ok, thanks guys, I am just going to get the R4 to save money, and this summer when I get a job I will get the DsTwo. I apologize for all my annoying questions

I have a DSONE in my DSLITE and am wondering if it's worth to upgrade to the DSTWO. I already have a SLOT2 cart so I should have near-perfect GBA compatibility and thus don't need to use the DSTWO's GBA emulator. Homebrew or emulators specific to the DSTWO seem limited or buggy so nothing exciting there. I can already use a button-combo to suspend a game to save / load it's state or enable slow-motion so I'm guessing that is the same as the real-time stuff in the DSTWO (it would be nice if it were possible to do real-time saves for GBA games). The only thing I kind of want is have the game selection list on one screen and the corresponding gamebox photo on the other screen, but that seems a bit frivolous. Did I miss anything?
