Hacking DsOne vs DsTwo

I found the DsTwo for a relatively cheap price (34.50 free shipping http://www.gamekool.com/freeshipping-super...-dsi-p-343.html ) and the DsOne for 24.99+Shipping ( http://www.leetmod.com/supercard-dsonei-sl...dsi-p-172.html) and was wondering if the DsTwo is worth the extra bit of money in the long run.

I would say the DSTWO is worth the extra moohah. It already has the GBA emulator and the CPU allows it to have more possibilities (Snes emu, multimedia and homebrew) than the old DSONE.

Hmmm, do you know if Gamekool is a reliable site? I looked up reviews and 75% of people said it was good the other 25% were all bad.

I've never used Gamekool so I can't really answer that. If you alternatives, you can use shoptemp or 0shippingzone. Those two have prett good reps.

DStwo is like the new era of flashcarts. There could be a bright future for the DStwo for new emulators, new homebrew that will use the extra CPU. The regular flashcarts like the DSone there homebrew scene is pretty much dead. Plus I would think that Supercard team will focus on the DStwo more then the DSone now.

EDIT: Gamekool is reliable I got my Supercard DStwo from there and everything is working perfectly.

How fast was shipping and where do you live, I live in Maryland so I don't know how long it would take, if it is this cheap though, I don't mind a 2 week wait.

For me it took only 3 days but that is because I took advanced shipping method(DHL). It will take probably 2 weeks for it to get to you. Most of the members that won my raffles got there stuff within 2 weeks after Gamekool shipped it.

yeah.. expect 2-3 weeks....

anyway... if shipping duration is a concern for you then why not get it from those US based stores?
it might be just a few USD extra but at least it kills the waiting time

It is in China and shipping times for that website is the same as Gamekool or any other store from China. What matters the most is when they ship it. And Simplymods is US based.

r4+ wood = AWESOME
like i had mentioned as long it is supported by ywg then is alright and it is also limited to 2GB microSD card

yet i won't strongly recommend you r4

even i think r4/dstt should die but with ywg updating r4 then whats the reason not to get r4? the only reason for me not to get r4 would be SDHC?

in my opinion...
as long as a card is being supported then a 5 USD, 10 USD, 40 USD flash cart should all being the same

if money is the issue then i don't see why not getting the cheapest (r4)

for topic starter...just bump around the forum and you will see various threads about which to get

r4 is as good as other cards as long its being updated...
however, it only supports up to 2GB SD card

if you are intending to store lots of games, movies in your SD card then stay away from r4

it is not that they suck.... they seems to have some issues
mostly new games + patch

scds2? hmmmmm the hottest flash cart in town....
i would say is a pretty good card and i think those team sc guys are on some agenda

So the R4 does everything the DsOne does but can only use 2gb sd cards? And what is the Real time stuff you see advertised with the DsOne?

RTS - you can save anytime you want

RTC - real time cheat code, that means you can on/off the cheats anytime you want
RTG - real time guide....

well just keep in mind... sometimese these features are not 100% perfect
however, i am pretty impressed with SCDS2 real time function

the RTS is pretty fast just like regular save game
