Hacking DSLink english kernel v1.30 update problem

I have chinese kernel v1.30 installed on my DSLink card and I want to install the english kernel v1.30. When I run the _DSLINK_.NDS rom the update program says "DSLink not found!". But the card is present and working!

Does anyone know how to install an english kernel over a chinese one?

you cant flash the chinese version with the english version.

Does anyone know if this is just a check in the update software or does the chinese card differ from the englisth one?
