Hacking DSL Repair

I have a ds lite that's top screen and right hinge broke about a moth ago and since i got it about a week after release it's out of warranty i can buy a new shell and top screen but i cant replace it myself so if anybody knows a place that will do it for me that's good i appreciate it

I had great experiences with a guy on ebay. I literally got my DS back within a week each time I've used him. I've just contacted him to see if he still does his repair services. PM me if you're interested. He's in the United States.

I've seen guides on how to do I'll probably end up breaking it. and are the speakers connected to the top screen It's always confused me

i'm considering replacing the top screen and shell but i dont know how to solder can i still do it and wind up with sound from my speakers or do i have to send it somewhere i heard theiveslike us does repairs and are any of the sites from the first post good?
