One DSiware game was hacked, but it's already been pulled from the store so you can't do it, and it was just hacked to load homebrew, you still had to buy it.

AM getting confused by the Page layout in this site...this is a great community for mods but am having a hardtime to work around it...is there anyway that it it can send me notifications if there are new replies to topics that i have posted in the forum?

When posting a reply, check the box underneath the that says "Enable email notification of replies? ".

either way, in 2009 they said they were working on it, now it's 2011 and still nothing, so excuse me while i say i don't get my hopes up for this anytime soon.

If you were there for that IRC discussion then some guy sent Costy a WarioWare Snapped DSiWare that was apparently cracked but refused to work on US (tested by Rydian), EUR-AUS (tested by me) and JAP (tested by shaunj66) DSi's. So yeah, fake. It's not been done yet.

seeing how "DSiWARE" is just a bunch of shovelware really, i understand that there is not too much incentive to crack anything.

Unless you are some nutty collector that's got to have every title ever released. Then you're screwed

You probably don't own a DSi if you're stating bullshit like that. There are tons of great DSiWare games such as...
- Shantae: Risky's Revenge
- Cave Story
- Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again!
- Mighty Flip Champs!
- Art Style: CODE
- Pop Plus: Solo
and more

I do own a DSi, and i consider neither of those games as good. I have spend money on Points cards, downloaded games, and straight up didn't like the games, and felt cheated for my money. Hence, i consider them Shovelware. If i sit at my computer, i can play similar games online for free, on some flash games website, totally legaly free.

There is no point in trying to crack these games YET, seeing how we JUST achieved acessing the DSi mode. Even if someone would have attempted to crack the games, find the keys, decrypt them etc. there would have been no straight forward way of playing them in DSi mode. I can understand that the work in this sector hasn't advanced much. But now that we have a working DSi Mode Flashcard, we can start looking at finding ways of playing these games.

And please, don't try telling me there are good DSiWARE games that are worth my while.

So you've tried those games?
Exactly, if you consider Mario Vs. Donkey Kong, Shantae, and Cave Story shovelware, I can see how low your taste lies.

That, or you haven't tried them, but have only seen them and deemed them "shovelware"
Plus, you're using shovelware out of context. An example would be games like Madagascar or Pony Luv...not good/popular first/third party games such as those.
