Hacking Dsiware hax with only modified console?

Hello, I have a 2ds that will sell today and has fieldrunners. I ordered a 3dsxl online but will arrive in about a week. Is there a way that I can transfer fieldrunners to a sd without the need of the destination console and once I received the new console just transfer the data? Or do I need to have the 2 of them?
